Deleting Your Account¶
MISTRIX supports the right to erasure (GDPR Article 17) with a 30-day grace window. When you request deletion, the account is marked for erasure and fully wiped 30 days later. Until then, you can cancel and keep the account.
How to request deletion¶
- Open You > Privacy & Security > Delete account.
- Read the warning text.
- Confirm.
- The 30 days start immediately.
After this, the top of the You screen carries a crimson banner with the deletion date and a Cancel Deletion button, and the Delete account row is gone until you cancel.
During the 30-day grace window¶
- The account is still active.
- You can still session, browse the gallery, use AI Studio, and so on.
- You can cancel deletion at any time.
- Signing in is enough to see the banner; it does not auto-cancel.
Cancelling deletion¶
- Tap Cancel Deletion in the banner at the top of the You screen.
- The date is cleared and the account returns to normal. No data lost.
Cancelling works right up to the last day. Once the 30 days are up it stops working, even in the gap before everything actually goes.
When 30 days pass¶
The account is erased. Not to the minute: it can land up to a day after the date on the banner.
What goes:
- Sign-in. The email no longer works, and the address is free to register with again.
- Your sessions and their text, your chat messages, your personal Domina(s), your inventory, your fetish map, your hard limits, your routines and tasks, your images, your reports and suggestions, your Charm ledger, the devices you paired, and everything your PIN locked.
- Your Chaster connection. If a lock she holds the key to is still running, end it before you delete: we hand the key back where we can, but if that fails there is no way back to that lock afterwards.
- Anything you posted to the public gallery. Published images and clips drop out of the feed with the rest of your images, and any link you handed out stops working.
- Your Expose posts, including any still live and still carrying your username, along with your votes and reactions.
After this point the account is gone. There is no recovery. The username is freed and can theoretically be claimed by a new user later.
What is not deleted¶
- Billing records. Invoices and payments have to be kept for accounting and tax, so they stay. Your name and email address are stripped from them, so what is left is not tied to you.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics counters that are no longer tied to your account persist.
- Anything another member already screenshotted or saved. Deletion clears our side. It cannot retract a copy someone else made of a gallery image or an Expose post.
Before you delete¶
If you might want anything later, export first:
- Run Data Export. Save the JSON.
- Copy out anything from a session you want to keep. The conversation itself is in your chat, and your session text and summaries are in the JSON.
- Save any AI Studio images you want to keep.
Deletion vs cancellation vs sign-out¶
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Sign out | Signs you out on this device. Account untouched; you enter your PIN again next time. |
| Sign out everywhere | Ends every session on every device, this one included. Nothing is deleted. |
| Cancel subscription | Drops to Free at the end of the period. Account untouched. |
| Schedule deletion | Account active for 30 days, then permanently wiped. |
| Reset PIN | Deletes everything your PIN locks. The account and the rest of it stay. |
Pick the smallest action that achieves what you want. Deletion is the nuclear option and is intentionally slow.
