Suggestions¶

Suggestions is a shared list of ideas for MISTRIX. You can post your own and vote on everyone else's. It is open to every account, on Free, Premium and Premium Plus, and it costs no Charms.

Getting there¶

Open Account.
Scroll to Community & About.
Tap Suggestions.

The screen is titled Feature Suggestions.

Writing a suggestion¶

Tap + Submit a suggestion. A short form opens. While it is open that button reads Cancel, and tapping it closes the form again.

Field	What to put in it
Category	Feature, UI/UX, Bug or General. General is picked for you.
Title	Required. Up to 120 characters. One line saying what you want.
Description	Required. Up to 800 characters. What you want and why.

Tap Submit. You get a "Suggestion submitted. Thank you!" message and your entry appears at the top of the list straight away.

Two things worth knowing before you tap Submit:

You cannot edit or delete a suggestion afterwards. Read it once first.
The list does not show who wrote what, but everyone can read the text. Keep personal details, real names and contact details out of it.

If something is broken and you need an answer, this is the wrong place. Use Help & support in Account instead.

Voting¶

Every entry has an arrow and a number on its left.

Tap the arrow to vote. The arrow and the count turn gold.
Tap it again to take your vote back.
One vote per suggestion. You can vote on as many different suggestions as you like, including your own.

The list is ordered by votes, highest first. Entries on the same number of votes are ordered newest first, so a fresh idea is not buried under old ones with the same score.

Reading the list¶

The grey tag next to a title is the category it was posted under.
Long descriptions are cut to two lines. Tap Show more to read the rest and Show less to fold it back.
Under each description is a status:

Status	What it means
Open	Posted and collecting votes. Nothing decided.
Planned	On the list of things to build. No date attached.
Done	Built and shipped.

What happens after you post¶

Statuses are set by the MISTRIX team, not by the vote count. Votes are a signal about what people want, nothing more.

Nothing on this list is a promise. A suggestion with a lot of votes may never be built, and one with no votes at all may still get built. No status, and no number of votes, means work has started.

Entries do not stay on the list forever:

A suggestion marked Done stays visible for about two weeks after that, then drops off.
A suggestion that is closed without being built stops appearing on the list straight away.

Either way, your votes on it disappear with it. Nothing else on your account changes.
