Character Shots¶
When you create a personal Domina, MISTRIX generates a character shot: a high-quality portrait of her. This portrait then anchors her look in every picture she sends you afterwards.
Character shots are only for personal Dominas. Preset Dominas use curated portraits that ship with the app.
Two ways to decide how she looks¶
You pick one on the Source step of the builder.
- Describe her. You choose her skin tone, eyes, age, hair, height and build on the next three steps. This is the default.
- Use my reference photo. You upload a portrait and it anchors her face, skin, eyes, hair and build. The Face, Hair and Body steps are skipped. A well-lit photo looking straight at the camera works best. The photo you upload is kept for about an hour and then discarded, so if you break off and come back later, upload it again.
Either way the rest of the configuration still drives her wardrobe, lighting and mood. The difference is who owns her face and body.
How a character shot is built¶
- You configure her in the builder: name, style, role, voice, traits, specialties, appearance, and the freetext Visual Aesthetic.
- MISTRIX turns that into one portrait on the Her Portrait screen.
- If you like it, tap Continue - it becomes her character shot.
- If you don't, tap Regenerate prompt (or Regenerate from reference) and you get another portrait from the same source. Keep going until one feels right.
- The portrait you keep is saved as her character shot. Every picture she sends you later uses it as a style anchor, so she stays recognisable.
A character shot takes longer to arrive than an ordinary picture, so give it a moment. Generating one is part of Premium and it does not cost Charms.
What anchors mean¶
Anchoring means every new picture of her keeps the face, build, posture, and aesthetic of the shot you kept. It is not a hard guarantee - generated images vary. But across many sessions she looks meaningfully like the same person.
What to put in the Visual Aesthetic¶
Visual Aesthetic is a freetext box on the last step of the builder, next to the preview. The best entries are short and visual:
- "Minimalist black studio, sharp directional light, no fabric on the walls."
- "Velvet drapes, candle light, deep maroon palette, antique mirror in the background."
- "Crisp daylight, white tile, clinical lab framing, latex only."
Avoid:
- Vague mood words alone ("dark", "sensual", "intense"). They produce generic results.
- Direct character references to real public figures. These are refused, and what comes back instead is off-target.
Regenerating a character shot¶
If you don't like the current shot:
- Tap regenerate to produce another portrait from the same source.
- Adjust the fields (especially Visual Aesthetic) between regenerations to steer the result.
- There is no separate daily quota for character shots. The only gating is your personal-Domina count: one on Premium, three on Premium Plus, and you can regenerate the character shot for any of them as often as you like.
Character shot vs the pictures she sends¶
- The character shot is her - the portrait itself. It shows on her card under Dominas and at the top of her chat. It is not a gallery entry, and generating it does not use up your daily image allowance.
- A picture she sends in chat is a fresh image of the moment you are in. She offers it, you confirm, and it is generated with her character shot as the style anchor. These do come out of your daily image allowance, and each one is saved to your AI Studio gallery, privately, so you can go back to it later.
