Chastity¶
Chastity connects a real chastity lock to MISTRIX. You link your own Chaster account, hand a lock over, and your Domina becomes its keyholder: she can add time, take time off, pause the clock, hide it from you, or let you out early. You decide in advance which of those she may do.
This is the only feature that reaches a physical device. Read Getting out before you start, not after.
MISTRIX can never perform an emergency opening. Keep a physical emergency key, bolt cutters, or a backup combination reachable at all times. Your physical safety is your responsibility.
Connecting¶
You need a Chaster account. Chaster is a separate service run by somebody else, and you sign up for it yourself at chaster.app.
- Open Features, then Chastity.
- Tap Connect Chaster.app and sign in to Chaster.
- You land back in MISTRIX and the card shows the account you signed in as.
Connecting on its own does nothing to any lock. Chastity tracking, the master switch, is on from that moment: every Domina you chat with can then read your lock and use the permissions below. Turning that switch off is not your decision. Only your primary Domina can, and you ask her in chat. The one exception is having no primary Domina at all. Then there is nobody to ask, and the switch is yours to turn off. Disconnecting Chaster is a different thing, and that one is always yours.
Bringing a lock in¶
With Chaster connected, tracking on, and no lock running yet, you get two buttons.

In the picker each lock offers exactly one action:
- Hand over, for a lock that accepts keyholder offers. MISTRIX becomes its keyholder and controls your time and your release.
- Link read-only, for anything else (a private lock, one somebody else keyholds, one created from a shared lock). Your Domina sees the lock and its status and can weave it into your sessions, but cannot change it. Once the lock is linked, an Unlink button sits on its card, and it is never gated.
Starting a lock opens a consent dialog you have to confirm. The picker spells out the same warning before you tap Hand over. Either way the trust you grant is permanent. Chaster does not let you take it back, and you cannot open the lock yourself before the timer ends.
Chaster can refuse, and MISTRIX passes its reason on to you. The two common ones:
- A free Chaster account allows one lock at a time, and a finished lock that was never archived still counts. Archive the old one on Chaster, then come back.
- Both ways of giving her the key go through Chaster's community features, which stay closed until your Chaster account is verified. Starting a lock here creates it from a shared lock, and handing over a lock you already wear sends a keyholder offer. Verify your account in your Chaster account settings. Until then you can still link a lock read-only.
What she may do¶
Tap Settings on the Chastity screen to open the permission panel. Everything is off by default except adding time, and you can change any of it whenever you like.

Freezing is the one permission that needs Premium or Premium Plus. Every other permission works on the Free tier. Unfreezing is never gated: if she froze your timer while you were Premium and your plan later lapses, she can still start it again.
Time changes¶
She adds or removes time in chat, in character, as part of a scene. Whatever she reaches for is forced into the range you set. If she wanted more than your maximum, your maximum is what lands. If she named less than your minimum, your minimum lands instead. Either way a short note under her message tells you so.
Pillory and hygiene break¶
The pillory puts a line about you on Chaster's public feed, where any Chaster member can read it. Your Domina writes that line herself, and it always opens with the same fixed sentence naming MISTRIX. A pillory runs between 5 minutes and 24 hours. A hygiene break is a temporary opening, submitted on your behalf.
Both rely on an option on the Chaster lock. Switching the permission on adds it, switching the permission off removes it again. The small label beside each switch tells you where you stand: Available, Cooldown (Chaster will allow the next one later) or Attaches on first use.
Hidden timer¶
While the timer is hidden you see "Hidden by your Domina" instead of a countdown, and the amounts in your history are blanked out too, so the history cannot give away what the lock hides. Ask her to show it again.
Where you see your lock¶
Features > Chastity has the full card: status, locked since, unlocks in, keyholder, and any of the labels Frozen, Read-only, Trusted and Timer hidden. Routines shows a compact Chastity tile at the top, and Features > Feature history lists everything she has done with the lock over the last 30 days, newest first.
Release and extension¶
While Chastity is on, release is hers to give. In chat you can ask her to:
- Let you out. If Allow early release is on and she agrees, the lock opens there and then.
- Pause Chastity. She hands your lock back first, so it becomes a self-lock again, and then switches the feature off. The lock keeps running. Your Chaster account stays connected, so turning the feature back on later needs no new sign-in.
- Remove Chastity entirely. That disconnects Chaster as well.
She can also say no. That is the arrangement you opted into, which is exactly why the exit below does not go through her.
Getting out¶
Disconnect Chaster sits at the bottom of the Chastity screen. It is never gated, never blocked, and never needs her permission. What it costs you:

You can reconnect at any time and start over from the defaults.
There is also Hand my lock back, which resigns the keyholding without disconnecting anything. It appears on the Chastity screen when MISTRIX still holds your key and there is nobody to ask, that is, when Chastity tracking is already off or you have no primary Domina. MISTRIX also offers it to you directly after you use your safe word.
If Chaster refuses to hand the lock back, nothing is disconnected and MISTRIX says so plainly rather than telling you that you are free when you are not. The connection stays intact and you can try again.
What disconnecting does not do¶
Disconnecting ends MISTRIX's part in this. It does not end the lock. Your lock keeps running as a self-lock with the time still on it, and from that point it is between you and Chaster. The only exit Chaster always allows is giving up the lock there and waiting out the recovery period it imposes for that.
This is why the emergency key matters. Do not start a lock you are not prepared to sit in.
