Safety¶
MISTRIX is designed so the stop signal is always closer than the next task. If you are unsure about anything, the safe word is one tap away.
Pages in this section¶
- Safe word - how it works, when to use it, what happens after.
- Hard limits explained - how they override every other instruction.
- PIN and privacy - what it protects and what happens if you lose it.
- Aftercare - what to do after a heavier session.
The three guarantees¶
- The safe word always works. During a session the Safe Word button sits in the chat header, and a full-screen page you open carries its own copy. Outside a session it is the first button in the footer of the chat menu. Tapping it ends the scene immediately. You do not lose your data; you do not earn XP for that session; her mood resets to neutral rather than turning against you.
- Hard limits are absolute. Anything on your hard limits list binds the Domina in everything she plans and writes for you: she never mentions it, references it, or implies it. Hard limits cannot be overridden by a clever message, a mood shift, or a future update. See Hard limits explained.
- We cannot read your sensitive data. Your fetishes, hard limits, inventory, safe word, the text of your routines and open tasks, your goal and standing rules, and your chat messages are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your PIN. We only ever hold the scrambled version. Lose the PIN, lose the data - even support cannot read it. Some things sit outside that boundary on purpose, because the app has to read them to run: your profile details, your sessions and their summaries, your images, your AI Studio prompts, your Domina herself and what she remembers about you. PIN and privacy has the full list.
What the app watches for on its own¶
- Before your first session, a one-time notice explains that every directive is written by an AI, that it cannot see you and does not know your health, that adapting or skipping a directive is always allowed, and that pain, numbness or dizziness means stop.
- Under the message box, a line on every chat screen repeats it: all replies are AI-generated and may contain errors, so check every directive before you act on it.
- After a reply is written, MISTRIX checks it for directives that would be risky to follow as written: breathing and the airway, pressure on the neck, cut-off circulation, restraint with no release in reach, harmful substances, burns, unsafe insertion, and clamps left on too long. When it finds one, a crimson Safety Notice appears under her message. For clamps it names the number: no more than 15 minutes at a time, off at once if the area goes numb or loses colour.
Her words are never rewritten and never hidden. The notice sits outside her message because it is the app speaking, not her.
Before your first heavier session¶
- Read Aftercare. Plan it the same way you plan the scene.
- Pick a safe word you would not say by accident. Avoid "stop" and "no" if those are part of how you talk in scene.
- Tell someone in your life where you are if you live alone and the session involves restraints. MISTRIX is software; it is not a spotter.
- Read the Hard Limits page and re-check your list.
If something goes wrong¶
- Use the safe word inside a session.
- Outside a session, you can clear chat history, change your active Domina, edit your interest levels, or hide a fetish from future planning - all from the app settings.
- If you experience harassment or content that should not exist, use the Report message button on the Domina message that carries it. That covers a message with an image in it too. Reports go to moderation.
- If you want your account erased, see Deleting your account. There is a 30-day grace window if you change your mind.
