Safe Word

The safe word is your hard-stop. It is always reachable, in a session or out of one, no matter what the screen looks like. Using it ends the session immediately, no questions, no penalty.

Where to find it

During any active session, a crimson Safe Word button sits in the bar at the top of the chat. With a preset Domina it is a pill with your safe word on it; with your own Domina it is a round button. A full-screen page you open during a session, such as End session, carries its own copy in its own header, so it cannot sit between you and the stop signal.

Outside a session it is still one tap away. Tap your Domina's name in the header to open the chat menu, and the crimson Safe word button is the first button in the footer of that panel. It works whether or not a scene is running.

Tapping it opens one short page, End the scene now, with your current safe word printed on the button that ends the session and a Keep going button if you tapped by accident. That single tap is the only thing between you and a full stop.

If you ever can't see it, that is a bug. Close and re-open the app; nothing about your session is lost in transit.

The safe word does not wait for the connection either. Tapping it stops the scene on your device straight away and shows her reply. If the message cannot reach us at that moment, it is held on your device and sent as soon as you are back online. The app tells you when that happens.

What happens when you tap

  • The session is marked ended immediately.
  • The Domina sends a short neutral acknowledgement.
  • No XP is awarded.
  • No rating screen is shown.
  • Her mood resets to neutral. It does not drift to displeased. That holds for your own Domina and for a preset Domina alike: every Domina keeps her own mood towards you, and the safe word puts it back in the middle.
  • The session does count against your quota. On Free that quota is one session per rolling 24 hours, so a safeworded session uses up your slot and the next one opens 24 hours after this one started, not at midnight. If you try sooner, the app shows a countdown to the exact moment. Safeword early if you need to, but know the cost.

Choosing your safe word

You set it during onboarding and can change it any time from You > Preferences > Safe word. That row shows the word you have now.

  • Pick something that is not part of how you talk in scene. "Stop" and "no" can both appear inside a scene; "red" and "pineapple" cannot realistically slip in by accident.
  • Short is fine. One syllable is fine.
  • Capital letters do not matter; matching is case-insensitive.

You never have to remember it under pressure. The word is printed on the button that ends the session, and it is on the Safe word row in your settings.

What the safe word is for

The safe word is for ending the scene. Not for fine-tuning.

For fine-tuning (slow down, skip a task, change tone), write her a short message in the chat. See Writing Good Messages.

For full stop, use the safe word.

After you safeword

You stay in the chat with your Domina. She answers with one short line and stops there. Under it sits a Start Aftercare button: tap it and she gives you reassurance and a couple of small grounding directives, water, breathing, warmth, and tells you to deal safely with anything you still have on. She does not pick the session apart unless you bring it up, and she does not propose a new one in that beat.

If MISTRIX is holding the key to your Chaster lock, you are offered the hand-back on the spot, without having to ask her for it. Handing back means MISTRIX stops being the keyholder and your lock becomes a self-lock: still running, still locked, but yours. It is not an unlock. See Chastity.

If you would rather log off, log off. There is no required follow-up.

You can start another session whenever you are ready. She does not hold the safe word against you when she plans the next one.
