Create Your Account

There are two ways to sign up: with an email address and a password, or with your Google account. Either way you end up with the same account, and you pick a username before you start.

Signing up with Google

On the sign-up screen, tick the age confirmation and accept the terms first. The Sign up with Google button stays greyed out until you do. Then:

  1. Tap Sign up with Google and choose your account.
  2. Pick a username. This step is the same for everyone.
  3. You land on the plan screen. Pick a plan, or continue for free. New accounts start on the Free tier.
  4. Onboarding starts.

There is no verification email on this route, because your Google account is already confirmed.

You also will not have a MISTRIX password. You sign in with Continue with Google from then on, and there is no way to add a password to the account later. If you lose access to that Google account, you lose access to MISTRIX with it.

Signing up with an email address

What you need

  • An email address you can reach. We send a confirmation and any password-reset links here.
  • A username. Visible in the app, globally unique, 3 to 32 characters, letters / digits / dashes / underscores.
  • A password. At least 8 characters, typed twice. The app tells you if it is too short or if the two do not match.
  • The same two tick boxes as the Google route: you confirm you are 18 or older, and you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Create Account stays greyed out until both are ticked.

After sign-up

  1. We send a verification link to your email address.
  2. Open the link, then come back to the app.
  3. You land on the plan screen. Pick a plan, or continue for free. New accounts start on the Free tier.
  4. Onboarding starts.

You have to verify your email before you can finish setting up the account. The app waits on a Verify your email screen while you do it. If the mail does not arrive, use Resend verification email and check your spam folder.

If sign-up is closed

New sign-ups are sometimes turned off. When they are, tapping Create Account opens a Registration closed notice instead of the form, and offers you the sign-in screen. An invite link still works while sign-up is closed.

Username rules

  • Globally unique, case-insensitive (so alice and Alice cannot coexist).
  • Cannot be changed by you. If you absolutely need a username change, contact support.
  • The one place other people see it is the Expose board inside the app: anything you post there carries your username. It is never shown outside MISTRIX. The public gallery is anonymous, and so are suggestions.

Email rules

  • You cannot change your own email address from inside the app. If you need it changed, contact support.
  • Password reset always goes to the address on your account. You get an email with a one-time link.

What happens if you forget your password

  • Type your email address into the sign-in screen, then tap Forgot password.
  • We send a reset link to that address. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder.
  • After resetting, sign in normally.
  • Your PIN is separate from your password. Resetting one does not reset the other. See PIN and Recovery.

What happens if you forget your PIN

The encrypted parts of your account (fetishes, hard limits, inventory, routines and tasks, your goal and standing rules, chat messages, safe word) are not recoverable. The rest of your account is still accessible: your profile details (name, gender, biological sex, age), your Domina and what she remembers, your images, sessions, tier, XP and level.
