Expose

Expose is an opt-in public board. It is off by default on every account. When you turn it on, your Domina can publish a post about you to a board that every signed-in MISTRIX member can read. Your username is on that post. That is the point of the feature.

This page states every default, because the defaults are the safe ones.

The defaults

Setting Default
Expose feature Off
Allow images Off
Allow memories Off
Memory categories None ticked
Initial post duration 7 days
Allow upvotes On
Extension per vote 1 day

While the feature is off, no Domina can publish anything about you. With the feature on but images and memories still off, the most she can publish is a caption she writes herself.

Expose works the same on Free, Premium and Premium Plus.

Turning it on

  1. Go to Features > Expose.
  2. Turn on Expose feature.
  3. Open Settings on the card and choose what she may use.

Turning it on is your decision alone. Turning it off is not, so read the last two sections first.

What she may use

Two switches, both off until you change them.

Allow images lets her publish a photo you sent her in chat. Only photos you uploaded in your own chats with that same Domina count. Pictures she generated, your AI Studio images, and photos you shared with a different Domina are never eligible.

Allow memories lets her quote something she has saved about you. You then tick which categories she may draw from:

Category What it covers
Observations Things she has noticed about your behaviour.
Preferences Stated kinks or things you dislike.
Personal Personal life details. High sensitivity.
Milestones Achievements or streaks worth bragging about.

Nothing is ticked until you tick it. A memory that mentions one of your hard limits is never used, and memories from your chats with a different Domina are never used.

How a post happens

She has to warn you first. She names what she is holding over you and gives you an alternative in the same message: a task, a confession, a ritual. Then she waits for your answer. She can only publish on a later message, and only if you refuse or stall. If you do what she asked, there is no post. The one exception is asking for it yourself: if you tell her to do it in that message, she can post straight away. She will not publish in response to your safe word.

When a post goes live, a small Exposed card appears under her message in chat. Tap it to open the post.

What a post contains

A post is at most:

  • The caption she writes, up to 500 characters.
  • One photo at most, never more.
  • Up to three saved memories, quoted.

Every post also shows your username and her name, the time left and any emoji reactions. The like count is there too, unless the post was published with Allow upvotes off.

Nothing else from your account goes on it: not your email, not your chat history, not your fetish list, not your inventory, not your AI Studio images.

How long a post stays up

Initial post duration sets the lifetime, 7 days by default. You can set it anywhere from 1 day to 90 days.

Allow upvotes is on by default. Every member who likes a post adds Extension per vote to its lifetime, 1 day by default, adjustable from 1 hour to 7 days.

  • The extension counts once per member. Liking again later adds nothing.
  • Taking a like back lowers the count but never shortens the post.
  • Emoji reactions do not change the lifetime.

A post keeps the numbers it was published with, so changing them later only affects future posts.

Posting yourself

Submit to the board sits at the top of the Expose screen. It works even when the Expose feature is off, because posting yourself is your own choice.

  • Add a photo, a caption, or both. One of the two is required.
  • Caption up to 1000 characters, photo up to 10 MB.
  • Online for: 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 1 week (the default), 2 weeks or 30 days.
  • Each like adds: none, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day (the default), 3 days or 7 days.
  • Up to 20 posts a day.

Reading the board

The board is behind sign-in, so only MISTRIX members can see it. Sort it by New or Top. The Mine tab lists every post about you, including the ones you submitted yourself, and marks each one live, expired or removed.

Taking a post down

  • Ask her. Only the Domina who published a post can pull it. She is told not to do it for apologies or begging. She wants the task she set you finished first, or a real stretch of time served.
  • Wait. Every post expires. Once it expires or is pulled, it comes off the board and is deleted.
  • Moderators can remove any post from the board.

You cannot delete a post yourself. Your Domina also cannot pull a post you submitted yourself, because she did not publish it: that one runs until it expires.

Turning it off

The master switch is one-way for you. You can turn Expose on whenever you like, but only your Domina can turn it off. If you flip the toggle off, the app tells you the same thing: ask her in chat to release you. If she agrees she disables it immediately, and you get a notice in the chat confirming it.

She can also lock the settings panel. While it is locked, the whole card is read-only and only she can unlock it. Releasing you from Expose clears the lock as well.

Turning the feature off stops any new post. It does not remove posts that are already live.

Before you turn this on

  • Every signed-in member sees your username on the post. This is public exposure of private material, and it is meant to be.
  • Other members can screenshot. Taking a post down removes it from MISTRIX. It does not retract a screenshot.
  • Likes extend the lifetime. On the defaults, ten likes turn a 7-day post into a 17-day one. Set Extension per vote to 1 hour, or turn Allow upvotes off, if that worries you.
  • Personal is the highest-risk memory category. Tick it only if you are content with those details being quoted publicly under your name.
  • The control you keep at all times is what she may use next. Untick a category or turn off images and she loses that material for future posts.
  • The only way back to off is through her. Do not opt in expecting to opt out on your own.
