Onboarding Walkthrough

Onboarding takes around five to ten minutes the first time. Almost every screen is editable later, so do not stress about getting it perfect.

This is the order a free account walks. Premium and Premium Plus start with the Domina builder and her character shot instead of the quiz, then join this list at the Fetish Map. See Preset vs Personal Dominas.

1. The quiz (level)

Seven short questions about your experience with BDSM, your comfort with equipment, and your sense of where you are. Your Domina uses your level to decide how hard your sessions are.

  • The result is a number from 1 (Novice I) to 10 (Master).
  • You can accept the suggested level, or nudge it up and down with the plus and minus buttons before you confirm.
  • After that it is not a setting you edit. It climbs on its own as you chat and finish sessions.

2. Fetish Map

The full curated fetish list, grouped by category. Every row carries one control strip: a cross, an empty circle, then three hearts. The hearts say how often she brings a theme into your scenes, not how hard she pushes.

  • Circle (default) - not for me.
  • One heart - occasionally.
  • Two hearts - often.
  • Three hearts - constantly.

It is fine to leave most rows on the circle. Pick what you actually want now; add more later.

3. Hard Limits

Hard limits live on the same screen. Every entry also carries a cross: tap it and that entry becomes a hard limit instead of an interest. Hard limits are absolute, they override every interest level, every session, forever. A counter at the bottom of the screen tells you how many you have marked.

  • It is fine to leave the list short or empty if there is nothing you hard-limit yet.
  • You can add and remove items at any time.
  • Common defaults to consider are in Hard Limits.

4. Inventory

Three tabs, one each for toys, clothing and accessories. Add what you actually own, with a short description if it helps her use it well.

You can skip this screen and add everything later from You > Preferences > Inventory. See Inventory.

5. Safe Word

Pick a word the Domina will respect. The screen offers a few suggestions (Crimson, Anchor, Pineapple, Marigold, Solstice) but you can use anything memorable.

  • Avoid "stop" and "no" if those appear in scenes you want to keep.
  • Avoid words you might say in chat normally.
  • Short is good. One syllable is fine.

You never have to recall it under pressure. During a session the red button sits in the chat header, and outside one the safe word is in the chat menu. Either way you get a confirmation screen first, and your word is printed on the button that ends the scene.

6. PIN setup

The most important screen in onboarding.

  • Pick a PIN. It has to be digits only, 6 to 12 of them. The field ignores anything else you type.
  • Confirm it in the second field.
  • Tick the acknowledgement: if you forget the PIN, your encrypted data cannot be recovered. That is your fetishes, hard limits, inventory, routines and tasks, your goal and standing rules, your chat messages and your safe word. The button stays off until both fields are filled and the box is ticked, and it tells you if the two PINs do not match.
  • Your PIN never leaves your device. Nobody at MISTRIX can see it, and nobody at MISTRIX can read your encrypted data without it.

7. About You

A short screen with four fields: the name she calls you, gender, biological sex, and your age as a single number, 18 or older. All four are optional and there is a Skip for now link. They shape how she refers to you and what she proposes. You can fill them in later from your profile card on the You screen.

8. You are ready

A one-card recap: your level, your safe word, and whether your PIN is set. Tap Enter MISTRIX to carry on.

9. Choose your Domina

On a free account this is the last step. Five preset Dominas, one card each, with her portrait, her name and a one-line specialty. Tap a card to pick her, which also opens her story underneath, then tap the confirm button at the bottom, which carries her name.

Premium and Premium Plus never see this screen. They built their own Domina at the start instead. See Choose a Domina.

10. Dashboard

You are in. At the top is your active Domina, her current mood, and a Continue conversation button. Below that are tiles for Routines, Expose, Features, AI Studio, Dominas and the Fetish map; counters for sessions completed, sessions this week and total XP; your level bar; your current plan; and, on Free, a row showing how many sessions you have left today.
