Hard Limits¶
A hard limit is a line your Domina will never cross. It is the most load-bearing safety feature in MISTRIX. Treat the list as the one setting you re-check the most.
How they work¶
- You set them on the Fetish map screen. Each fetish has a cross next to its hearts. Tap the cross and that fetish becomes a hard limit.
- Every entry is one of the fetishes from the same curated list you set interests on.
- The Domina has your hard limits in front of her in every session and every conversation, as a plain never.
- This is not a soft preference. The Domina will not propose, hint at, or write around an entry in this list.
Hard limit vs interest¶
A hard limit is not a second list. It is one position on the same row you use to rate the fetish, so a fetish can never be a hard limit and an interest at the same time. Tap the cross and the hearts clear. Tap a heart and the cross clears.

If you want to fully retire a fetish, you can either set the circle or set the cross. The cross is stronger. It reaches her as a plain never, she says no out loud if you ask her for it anyway, and it is the one rating she can never talk herself out of. Adding and removing¶
Both take effect as soon as you tap Save & Continue.
- Adding a hard limit lands at once. Active sessions continue with their existing plan, but the next session will respect the new limit.
- Removing a hard limit lands at once too. Clearing the cross drops the fetish back to the circle, so she still leaves it alone until you give it hearts.
"Pretend it isn't on my list tonight"¶
This does not work. By design. The Domina is not allowed to be negotiated out of a hard limit by an in-chat message. If you genuinely want a hard limit gone, clear the cross on the Fetish map screen and start a new session.
What is on the list by default¶
Nothing. You set the list during onboarding. If you skipped quickly, revisit the screen now. A few minutes of curation here saves you a lot of mood-killing surprises later.
A common starting list¶
Many users cross a few fetishes they were never going to rate anyway, as a belt-and-braces safeguard. Common ones to consider:
- Anything involving non-consenting third parties (always blocked by the app, but explicit on your list anyway).
- Categories your body cannot tolerate (e.g. electric stimulation if you have a heart condition).
- Categories your relationship situation excludes (e.g. public scenarios you cannot run safely right now).
