Her Memory

Your Domina has working memory. She is not a goldfish, and she is not a diary either. This page explains the line.

What she always remembers

She has these in front of her every message, even on a brand-new chat:

  • Your level.
  • Your active fetishes and their interest levels.
  • Your hard limits.
  • Your inventory (toys, clothing, accessories) by name. Your notes on an item are there for her to pull up when she needs them.
  • Your long-term goal and your standing rules from the Goal tab.
  • Her own personality and current mood.
  • Your safe word.
  • Your current local date and time.
  • The state of your chastity lock, if you connected one.

If any of those are wrong, edit them in the relevant settings screen. Telling her in chat will work for the current session, but the source of truth is the profile.

What she remembers from prior sessions

A session's title, its difficulty and the rating you gave it are not part of what she reads in chat. What a finished session leaves behind is her mood and the reason she gives for it, so a run that went badly colours how she opens the next one. See After the session.

What actually carries the detail forward is the notes she writes for herself while you talk: short lines about you, your preferences, and what happened.

How far back she reaches

Her notes do not expire. Nothing ages out on a timer, and an old note is not dropped because it is old.

What limits her is attention, not storage. For each message the app hands her about a dozen of her notes: the ones closest to what you just said, with a nudge for recent ones. A note she did not get this turn is still there and can come back the moment you touch on the subject again.

You can read what she is holding, and delete any of it, in the Memory tab of the chat panel.

What she remembers from chat

Inside an active chat she keeps the recent message history. The practical window is "this conversation". She does not silently splice in messages from another Domina's chat with you.

What she does NOT remember

  • The contents of a conversation you erased. Reset chat & memories, at the bottom of the chat panel, wipes your whole history with that Domina in one go: every message, every note she holds about you, and her session records. It cannot be undone, and there is no way to clear the messages but keep her notes.
  • Messages from a different Domina's chat. Each Domina has her own thread.
  • On Free, anything from a Domina you switched away from. Switching the active Domina on the free tier clears the previous Domina's chat thread, session history, and memory continuity. Premium and Premium Plus keep each Domina's data independently, so switching back restores her recall. See Choose a Domina.
  • Anything you set up and then turned off (e.g. an inventory item you removed) past the point where you removed it.
  • Real-world events between sessions. If something important happened to you, mention it in your next message.

Nudging her recall

If she misses something you wanted her to remember, two things help:

  1. Repeat it once, plainly. "Reminder: I'm not using the cuffs this week." She will integrate the note.
  2. Update the source. If it is structural (a fetish you no longer enjoy, a toy you sold), change it in settings. That sticks.

Privacy footnote

If you have a PIN set, your chat messages are stored encrypted with a key derived from it, and nobody running MISTRIX can read them. The notes she keeps about you sit outside the PIN. See PIN and Privacy.
