Account Settings

Tap You in the bottom bar to open your account screen. It holds everything about you that is not inside a session. Some things are edited here, some open a screen of their own, and a few cannot be changed at all.

The screen is one column of groups, always in this order:

  1. Your profile card.
  2. My Domina
  3. Preferences
  4. App
  5. This phone, only inside the companion app.
  6. Android app
  7. Privacy & Security
  8. Plan
  9. Community & About, which ends with the two red sign-out rows.

The version you are running is printed under the last group.

Profile

The card at the top shows your name, your tier and your level. Tap it to edit your profile. That screen holds four fields, all optional. The three below them are shown here for completeness and are not on it.

Field Editable Notes
Name / how to address you yes What the Domina calls you. Up to 40 characters.
Gender yes Male, Female, Non-binary, Other, or Prefer not to say. Affects how she refers to you.
Biological sex yes Penis, Vagina, or Prefer not to say. Shapes which physical tasks she gives you.
Age yes One number, 18 or older. Used to shape her framing. It is not an age check.
Username no Chosen when you signed up. Ask support if you need it changed.
Email no The address you sign in with. You cannot change it here; ask support if you need it changed.
Level no Starts from the questions you answered when you joined; rises with every message and every finished session. She pitches how hard she pushes in chat to it.

My Domina

The first group under the profile card.

Row What it does
Select domina Free: pick one of the preset Dominas. Premium: one personal Domina. Premium Plus: up to three.
Configure personality Edits your active Domina. Premium and Premium Plus only; on Free the row is not there.

See The Domina for what each field means.

Preferences

Three rows, each opening a screen of its own:

  • Fetish map - your interest level for every kink.
  • Inventory - toys, clothing and accessories she may use.
  • Safe word - the word that stops a scene. The row itself is blank once you have a PIN, because the word is locked with it. Open the row to read or change it.

See Interest levels and Inventory.

App

Row What it does
Bottom bar Choose which two screens sit in your bottom bar. Home, Chat and You always stay.
Notifications Turns her messages on or off on this device.

The Notifications row reads On, Off, or Not registered. "Not registered" means this device asked for notifications but is not set up to receive them, so nothing can reach you. A warning appears under the row with a Register this device button that fixes it.

On iPhone and iPad the row says "Install the app to enable" instead. Notifications there only work once MISTRIX is on your home screen. Tap the row for the steps.

How often she writes

With notifications on, a Frequency control appears under the row.

Setting What you get Tier
Low At most one message a day, with long quiet stretches. All
Normal Up to three a day, and never right after you were active. All
High Up to five a day, with shorter pauses in between. Premium, Premium Plus

On Free, High is shown with a small lock. Tapping it opens an upgrade prompt instead of changing the setting. If you had High and your plan ends, the control reads Normal again and your choice comes back when you upgrade.

She stays quiet between 22:00 and 09:00 in your local time. Anything due in those hours arrives the next morning. Reminders you set up yourself for routines and tasks do not count towards the daily number.

Delivery check

Under the frequency control sits Delivery check with a Send test button. It sends one notification right now to every device you have switched notifications on for, then tells you what happened: it went out, this device is not registered, this device's registration had expired and was just removed, or the message was refused.

Use it when notifications are switched on but nothing ever reaches you. It tells you whether the message left at all. If it says it was sent and you still see nothing, your phone or computer is hiding it, and the setting to change is there rather than here. There is a ten-second wait between tests.

This phone

This section only appears inside the companion app, directly under the App group. It has one switch per thing the Domina may do to your phone - Notifications, Wallpaper, Take over the screen, App blocking - and a Web filter switch that blocks adult sites in every browser on the phone. With app blocking on, you also pick which apps she keeps out of reach and how you get back in.

See Mistrix Companion.

Android app

Next comes Android app, and what it shows depends on where you opened MISTRIX.

In a browser it offers Download Mistrix Companion with the version, the size and when it was released, plus two buttons:

Button What you get
Stable The tested release. This is the one to take.
Nightly The newest version, put out each day and not tested. It can crash, lose your settings, or refuse to open.

The app is not in the Play Store, so Android asks you once whether to allow the install. Nightly warns you before it downloads, because going back to Stable means uninstalling first, and that takes everything the app holds with it.

Inside the companion app the same section shows the version you are on, whether a newer one exists (with a Get it button), and a Release channel switch between Stable and Nightly.

Privacy and security

Row What it does
PIN & encryption Change your PIN, check your locked data, or reset the PIN. Reads "Not set" if you never set one.
Reset password Sends a reset link to the address you sign in with.
Export my data Downloads a copy of everything on your account.
Delete account Schedules erasure. You have 30 days to change your mind.

While a deletion is pending, the Delete account row is gone and a banner sits at the top of the screen with the date and a Cancel Deletion button.

See PIN and recovery, Data export, Password reset and Deleting your account.

Repair locked data

Once you have a PIN, tapping PIN & encryption opens a panel, and Repair locked data is a button inside it. If the row reads "Not set", the tap takes you to PIN setup instead and there is no repair button anywhere. The check asks whether everything you have saved can still be opened with the PIN you use now.

Most people never need it. It matters when something was saved under a PIN you no longer have. What you notice is a part of the app that stays empty or will not save.

The button is deliberately not there while a PIN change of yours is unfinished. That data is not stranded, only half-moved, so the panel offers to finish the change instead. Finish it and it reads again.

You can also meet the list without asking for it. If you start a PIN change and something cannot be unlocked, the check runs first and shows you the list before the change goes ahead.

If everything is readable, it says so and nothing happens. If something is not, you get a plain list of what is affected - profile details, fetish map, learned fetish interests, hard limits, inventory, safe word, chat guidance, chat history, her memories - and two choices:

Choice Result
Keep Nothing is touched. The listed items stay unreadable.
Discard & rebuild The listed items are deleted for good, so you can set them up again from scratch.

Discard & rebuild stays greyed out until you type DISCARD into the box above it. Discarding cannot be undone, and it never touches anything that is still readable. Run the check and read the list before you decide.

Plan

Row What it does
Subscription Shows your tier. On Premium and Premium Plus it opens the page where you change or cancel your plan. On Free it opens the upgrade screen.
Buy charms Shows your Charm balance and opens the shop.

See Tiers and Charms.

Community and about

The last group holds Help & support (Discord or email), Suggestions, What's new, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and then the two sign-out rows below. The version you are running is printed under the group. Quote it when you report a problem.

Signing out

The two sign-out rows are the last two rows of the Community & About group, and both are red.

Row What it does
Sign out Signs out this device only. Your other devices stay signed in.
Sign out everywhere Ends every session on every device, this one included.

Sign out everywhere asks you to confirm first. When you do, every device signed in to your account is signed out at once, the one in your hand as well, and you have to sign in again right here. Nothing is deleted: your chats, images and PIN are exactly as you left them.

Use it if you are still signed in somewhere you no longer control, or you think somebody else got into your account. If a device was taken, change your PIN afterwards too, so your saved data is locked with a new key. You can use it up to five times an hour; past that you are asked to wait before the next try.

Findom is not on this screen

Findom used to be a row here. It now has a screen of its own under Features > Findom, next to Chastity and Expose, and that row shows whether it is on.

See Findom.

What you can't change from settings

  • Username - ask support.
  • Email - ask support.
  • Level - it follows your XP, and XP follows your chatting and your sessions.
  • Past sessions - there is no screen that edits or deletes a single one. They are removed automatically 365 days after they started.
  • The Domina's mood - it drifts, you don't set it.
  • Universal hard limits - they apply whatever your own list says.
